The Salem Express wreck diving experience offers divers a unique opportunity to explore a sunken ship located in the Red Sea off the coast of Egypt. The Salem Express was a passenger ferry that sank in 1991, and now lies on the seabed at a depth of about 30 meters (100 feet). Diving at the Salem Express wreck allows divers to explore the eerie remains of the ship, including its intact hull and scattered cargo. However, it's important to note that the wreck site also serves as a grave site for the victims of the tragedy, adding a somber and respectful tone to the diving experience.

El Minya

El Minya was one of four T43 ocean-going minesweepers, built in the former USSR, delivered in spring 1956 as part of a $120 million arms treaty negotiated by President Nasser during a meeting in Moscow on 24th of September 1955. The sinking of the Minya by Israeli Forces on 6 February 1970 is documented, but there are no additional details provided, and no information regarding the specifics of the operation is accessible.

This diving experience offers divers an intriguing exploration opportunity in the Red Sea, located near Hurghada. The sunken cargo ship is resting on the seabed at a depth of around 20 to 30 meters (65 to 100 feet). This wreck provides divers with the chance to discover a variety of marine life that has made the wreck its home over the years. As you approach the bow area, you'll discover numerous attractions on the wreck. Initially, you'll encounter the mount for the second anti-aircraft gun, which dislodged when El Minya capsized and now lies a brief distance south of the bow.
